MetadataShow full item record
Desmoid tumors are histologically benign fibrous neoplasms originating from the musculoaponeurotic structures throughout the body. Despite their aggressive local infiltration, desmoid tumors lack a metastatic potential. Main locations of desmoid tumor are the abdominal wall, the proximal extremities and the mesenteric intestine especially in patients with familial adenomatous poliposis. In this study, we report a 27 years old woman, who presented with a mass in her rigt upper side of the abdomen and diagnosed as abdominal desmoid tumor postoperatively.
